[5th Gen OU] Haxorus is Beast :P

HAXORUS IS BEAST Razz

At A Glance

Introduction
This is a team I made after experimenting with a lot of pokemon used in the current metagame. The team was mostly meant to test the AMAZING Haxorus Lead. This team was originally made for DW OU but I found it worked much better in WiFi but I do lose the surprise of of my other pokemon. In order to make this team work best, try to take out all of Haxorus's counters. The team peaked pretty high for me as I don't ladder much. It took me a good hour to get to around 1200 but then I started to get haxed a lot and I DC'ed at the worst times. The Peak is shown here:
Peak:

A Closer Look

@ Lum Berry
Trait: Rivalry
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Brick Break

Old Set:
Haxorus (M) @ Choice Band
Trait: Rivalry
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Dual Chop
- Outrage
- Earthquake
- Brick Break
The whole purpose of the team. At first I had Choice Band but since people predicted too well, I switched to Dragon Dance and set him as my lead. Now that Genesect is gone from WiFi, it is much easier to set up a Dragon Dance because he was a huge problem in this team, especially the sashed version. Now most leads are pokemon who set up entry hazards (i.e, Deoxys-S) or are sweepers. Because this is a WiFi team, I have less worry for leads. The reason I chose Jolly over Adamant is because he NEEDS the extra speed to take care of any quick sweepers. There is not much to say about the set because it is a pretty standard set. This thing also gets a good boost from Rivalry so hope you face a male pokemon and sweep away Wink

@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Trick
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Thunder

Old Set:
Rotom-W @ Choice Scarf
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Trick
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Pain Split
Rotom-W is an amazing pokemon to keep in the team for tricking and/or sweeping. Pretty common set and not much to talk about. Changed Pain Split to Thunder because I wanted to abuse the weather a bit more and with STAB it deals a great amount of damage to any pokemon.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 152 HP / 136 SAtk / 220 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Charge Beam
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Old Set:
Magnezone @ Leftovers
Trait: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Flash Cannon
- Substitute
People underestimate this pokemon so much. This pokemon is AMAZING for trapping those pesky Scizors and Ferrothorns, oh and don't forget the Skarmory's. I just usually Substitute then set up the Charge Beam and then when I am at about +2, then I use the most appropriate move. HP Fighting is good on Ferrothorns and Thunderbolt is good on Scizors and Skarmorys.

@ Life Orb
Trait: Oblivious
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Stone Edge

THIS DUDE IS AMAZING. I love this guy on my team because it fits very well with my other pokemon and puts my Dragonite/Salamence weakness to an end. Try to keep this guy alive as long as possible for the late game sweepers. EV's are self explanatory and so is nature. Moves are very common on this guy and I NEED THE ICE SHARD. Earthquake and Icicle Crash for STAB and Stone Edge for type coverage. Life Orb for the extra power.

@ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Dragon Pulse
- Thunder
- Surf
- Psyshock

Old Set:
Latios @ Choice Specs
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder
- Surf
- Psyshock
This guy is a beast. Fast, Powerful and hard to take down. Usually kept near the end for sweeping. EV's and Nature once again self explanatory. Moves are just WOW. Thunder for rain abusing, Surf for rain abusing. Dragon Pulse is just WOW damage cause of high Sp. Attack and STAB. Psyshock for them special walls. Changed from Specs to Leftovers because I have more of a sweeping capability.

@ Choice Scarf
Trait: Drizzle
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Ice Beam
- Perish Song

My weather pokemon. This guy is a BEAST with scarf. He has an amazing natural bulk and has a decent special attack. I almost always hit Hydro Pump for the Rain enhancing and STAB. It hits so powerful, can almost always 2HKO any pokemon. Perish Song for annoying pokemon. Also works well with the Magnet Pull on Magnezone. Ice Beam for those dragons who think they are faster, I just laugh when they go "LIKE WTF". HP Grass for any pokemon who is weak to grass obv but still works very nice.

THREATS:
Dugtrio- A big threat against trapping my Politoed
Alakazam- This guy is always a big threat but Mamoswine handles it.
Gastrodon- I have never like facing this guy but it is pretty easy to take down
Celebi- Pretty big problem but can be handled
Quagsire- I Hate this guy but Politoed handles it
Zapdos- Mamoswine
Abomasnow- Weather
Latios- Calm Mind set is a problem but Mamoswine can handle it easily. Predict against Specs set.
Excadrill- Politoed/Rotom handles it easily
Conkeldurr- Latios once weakened
Hydreigon- Latios/Magnezone
Volcarona- When sets up, then BAM but Politoed/Rotom handles it
Terrakion- Politoed/Rotom
Landorus- Politoed/Rotom
Chandelure- Politoed/Rotom
Haxorus- Man I don't like facing him but Mamoswine handles it
Virizion- Mamoswine
Scrafty- Anyone before it sets up
Reuniclus- This is thing is a problem when facing Trick Room set because my team relies on the speed
Salamence- Mamoswine
Ninetails- Weather
Toxicroak-This thing is a problem when the opponent predicts well
Breloom- BIG PROBLEM, but Mamoswine handles it once weakened
Ditto- NOOBS ONLY USE THIS
Scizor- Magnezone
Ludicolo- Not a huge problem since Swift Swim is now banned
Metagross- Haxorus/Mamoswine
Infernape- Rotom/Politoed
Heatran- Politoed/Rotom/Latios
Dragonite- Mamoswine/Haxorus/Latios
Jirachi- Haxorus/Mamoswine/Magnezone
Rotom-W- This thing can be a big problem
Tyranitar- Weather
Gliscor- Rotom/Politoed/Latios
Blissey- Anyone physical
Bronzong- Not a big problem because of Haxorus' Mold Breaker
Chansey- Anyone physical
Deoxys-s- Usually seen as lead but can be a huge problem
Ferrothorn- Magnezone
Forretress- Magnezone
Porygon2- Haxorus
Skarmory- Anyone Special, but Magnezone trolls it Smile

Scarf toed with Perish song?
Is this a predict first turn switch?
Or is it a filler with slight use?
Because after perish song you switch right?
Normally They have non scarf perish toed so that they can protect after
So the opponent cant give last chance damage

Its great against annoying ass steal types... Perish Song, then go to Magnezone!
I use it against Forretress all the time!
